Stallion's Links

Lone Star Friesians does not have a stallion on-site. This gives us complete flexibility in choosing the right stallion to pair up with our mares and allows you the option of shopping for the sire of your future foal.

Illiad PM

Imported from Europe in 2003, Illiad is an extraordinary alpha stallion. He represents the Classic conformation, but is not heavy in his movement. He is now competing at Prix St. Georges in Open Dressage Competition, and scoring in the mid-60’s and 70’s. We believe he will succeed Tinus as Proud Meadows’ premier competition stallion.

His mane is from beyond this world. Hanging down to his knees and matched by a luxuriant tail, these features give him a showy presence in Freestyle that no other horse can match.

Tjerk

Tjerk is a Baroque style Friesian, with a beautiful head and a short-coupled body. Exuding character and flair, he loves the limelight and shows off his rhythmic, ground covering gaits with brilliance and impulsion.

Tjerk's intelligence and showmanship make him a favorite or riders and audiences alike. Competing now at Second Level, he is also used extensively for freestyle demonstrations.
